Bottom line
Why partner with us?
The Employer Retirement Plans Team (ERPT) is a partnership between independent advisors and the Employer Retirement Plans division at Prosperity Advisors. Employer Retirement Plans are much more complex now than ever before due to constantly changing governmental regulations. Competition is also fierce as an increasing number of advisory firms are entering the Employer Retirement Plan space.
Partnering with ERPT can help you eliminate this unwanted competition with confidence. Our team stands beside you every step of the way, handling administrative and operational duties for the Plan while ensuring fiduciary and compliance responsibilities are met.
Everything you need
How we'll work with you
Using a shared rep code, we design a partnership. Plan-generated revenue is split 50/50 between us and you. However, any opportunities the plan generates - such as rollovers, insurance, brokerage accounts, 529s, etc. - are 100% yours! You will not split any of that revenue with us.
Our innovative solutions to employer sponsored retirement plans
Prosperity Advisors is a fiduciary, subject to strict standards of conduct. We must act on behalf of plan participants and their beneficiaries. We work with the chosen vendor and Third-Party Administrator to manage risk, and use benchmarking and other tools to ensure the plan is competitive.
The more employees understand about their retirement plan options, the more satisfied they will be with their plan and their employer. Prosperity provides on-site educational presentations, webinars, and one-on-one consultations in person or by phone.
Our team of advisors, led by credentialed professionals including our SVP who holds the Qualified 401(k) Administrator designation, will collaborate with the employer to tailor a plan for their unique company goals and objectives.
Prosperity's role as a 3(21) fiduciary advisor is a co-fiduciary role. Our team carefully researches a diversified fund portfolio that is both cost effective and and performance driven - resulting in a suitable investment fund menu and investment policy statement for the employer.
This is the ideal time to start advising on ERPs. Over the next few years, and in more and more states, the government intends to mandate that small business owners offer some form of employer-sponsored retirement plan. Other advisors also know this and will enter this space, which will mean fierce competition.
