If the Cetera AML Team identifies a low priced or restricted security, the financial professional will receive an email notification indicating that the AML Team has identified a holding that requires action. The financial professional or any delegate should then go to the Low-Priced Securities and Restricted Deposits Dashboard in Pinpoint and complete the required questionnaire. The AML Team can either decide on the inquiry, or they may choose to consult with supervision or Cetera Compliance regarding the inquiry. A final decision can be made by either the AML Team, supervision. or Cetera Compliance. The status of the request is maintained in the Low-Priced Securities and Restricted Deposits Dashboard.
Requests for pre-approval of incoming low-priced securities may be submitted to CompAML@Cetera.com using the LPOR form (CFG-644)
